Ruling party MPs say LVV will be the first party to complete a full government mandate and that in September, the election law will be set for the election date.
On the other hand, opposition deputies say the government and its prime minister have isolated Kosovo, in this context their only salvation for Kosovo will be early elections and the arrival of a new prime minister.
A few months before the government mandate ends, opposition parties are stressing the need for early elections because, reportedly, mismanagement, accepting harmful agreements and violating reports with strategic allies. The ruling party is convinced that the government will fulfil its mandate. MP Armend Muja believes the LVV has popular support confirmed, in any circumstances.
“From September under the presidential election law should consult parties for the election date, but I personally think it would be best to complete the mandate to give another example that Kosovo is a fan of democracy, while the LVV is confirmed that there is popular support, and in this case we are willing”, Rtv21 Muja told.
The PDK says it will not vote on international agreements, in order to prevent the work of the assembly until the government resigns.
“You know now of a period The PDK does not vote any international agreement in order for the country to go to extraordinary elections, it does not already make sense that this government will continue when we are internationally isolated, so any action we are doing is to take the country to extraordinary elections and because it has lost credibility the country needs a new prime minister coming from PDK”, Tahiri said.
LDK MP Armend Zemaj says extraordinary elections would save Kosovo from the crisis in which, according to him, this government has introduced it.
“An electoral fraud with three years of governance and no progress whatsoever but fraud so the elections are already mandatory and the sooner they are kept as well, tomorrow if a climate should be created, and Kosovo would be saved from this poor run-down”, Zemaj said.
A no-confidence motion for the government has long been sought by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo. This party's MP, Paul Lekaj, says the elections are a solution to the created situation.
“We are in the electoral year therefore held in September or August, the earlier this government will leave the best for the country and citizens”, Lekaj said.
