According to Kosovo Statistics Agency data, the overall harmonised consumer prices index is higher at an average of 1.8% in January 2024, compared to December 2023.
Monthly inflation was 0.3% in January 2024.

The overall harmonised consumer prices index is higher at an average of 1.8% in January 2024, compared to January 2023.
This is mainly explained with the rise of consumer prices in this period in groups and subgroups of COICOP: tree (13,6%); fish (9,7%); vegetables (9.3%); electricity, gas and other fuels (7.5%); goods and services for the usual maintenance of the domestic economy (7,2%); sugar, jam, chocolate, chocolate and candy (7,0%); food products (6.5%); mineral water, non-alcoholic drinks, liquids and vegetables (6); newspapers and office materials (5.3%); glass, glass and kitchen tools (3%), hotels, hotels, (3%), hotels, and cafes, (29% of cafes; and teas; 29% of them, sugars; and 29%; and other foods; and 280%; and alcohol, 29%; and alcohol; and alcohol, 29%; and alcohol, 29%; and alcohol; and alcohol; and alcohol; and alcohol, 29% in combinations; and alcohol.
As prices drop in groups and subgroups of COICOP: fuel and lubricant for personal transport equipment (-8.5%); oil and fat (-7.8%); milk, cheese and eggs (-3,9%); and auto purchase (-2.1%), with a common impact of these subgroups (-1.0% on IHCK.

The overall harmonised consumer prices index is higher at an average of 0.3% in January 2024, compared to December 2023. This is largely explained with the rise of consumption prices of COICOPI subgroups: vegetables (3.7%); milk, cheese and eggs (1.3%); as well as bread and cereal (0.9%), with a common impact of these subgroups 0.4% in IHCK.
The fall of prices is noted at the subgroup: auto purchase (-1.3%), with an impact of (-0.1%) on IHCK. R
