A Ukrainian national has been found dead by Kosovo Police on the 21st of February (July 21st) night on the “Arba Xhaferi” highway.
The case of her death is being investigated intensively by law enforcement.
KALLXO.com sources show that the deceased in October 2023 had come to Kosovo and had sought asylum at the Department of State, Asylum, and Migration.
The reason for coming to Kosovo, according to sources, was the ongoing war in Ukraine. The victim had come alone without being accompanied by family members.
Sources say Kosovo institutions are handling the case of its death intensively.
In this direction, the Ukrainian phone was found, the location where she was living for rent and some other stuff was located.
Same time she was found dead on the highway she didn't own her phone or anything.
The telephone, some money and other materials were found in a Pristina residence where she was living during a police-run raid.
Based on information at the moment when it was found without signs of life, in the examination file so far it finds it had broken leg and some facial injuries, allegedly caused after a blow the sources claim was done by a non-small <x0-autodes.
On the other hand, no suspicious sign of violence in the victim's body has been recorded so far.
Sources say that where the body was found it was not a habitable or accessible place by pedestrians.
Ferizaj's prosecutor in 22.02.2024 has announced that the Ukrainian citizen's case with the initial O.K., found dead on the Ferizaj-Pristina highway, is under investigation on 21.02.2024.
According to the prosecution's announcement, the case occurred at around 7:30 and is being investigated in the direction of the criminal act.
The Kosovo Police Regional Officers in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor have come to the scene, and her death has been recorded by the medical team. The prosecution and all other relevant institutions are working to clear up the circumstances of this death, and the case is being investigated in the direction of criminal work “Axident traffic” with fatality” reported in the prosecution's announcement.
Meanwhile, at the prosecutor's order, the victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) in Pristina./Cashho. com
