In Kosovo Specialised Chambers ( DPSK) in The Hague yesterday has continued the trial hearing in Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi. But today's initial session has been postponed on 28 February.
Yesterday, the protected witness, 47th in a row, of the Special Prosecutor's Office, witnessed in the Special Bureau. Prosecutor Sarah Clanton, in summary for the witness, introduced him as Prizren resident who was banned and mistreated by KLA members.
At yesterday's session, there was also talk about the performance of the case, where it became known that today's initial session was postponed. The chairman of the court announced on Monday that the testimony of the next witness will be heard Wednesday, February 28th, through video connection.
In the Thaci court case and others, for this week three sessions were scheduled, but likely only two, after the February 27th session was postponed for tomorrow.
The trial against former KLA leaders has begun on April 3rd of last year, while indictees have been declared innocent.
The first act against four indictees was confirmed on October 26, 2020, and was made public on November 5, 2020. According to the indictment, the crimes presented in it were committed at least from March 1998 to September 1999 at several locations in Kosovo, as well as in Kukes and Chahan, in northern Albania.
