Kosovo has violated relations with the United States, says former negotiator Edita Tahiri. According to her, Kosovo has never had such reports with the country's largest ally. Speaking of the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State James O'Brien,

Tahiri considers his warning alarming and disturbing. The former minister for dialogue blames Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who he calls a fraud and ignorant. In an interview for Kosovo Press, she estimates that the opposition should be united and citizens should organise protests to counter the chief executive's approach with international allies.

Kosovo's former chief negotiator in talks with Serbia, says that by the US itself, relations between the two countries have been clearly violated.

The threat that Mr. O'Brien made is very disturbing, it's alarming. And they made it clear that relations between the United States and the Government of Kosovo, Kurt, have been violated. Never has Kosovo had such dire situations, we were punished by Americans at Kurt's fault. But that's not enough for Kurt because he has his populist agenda, he's looking for new crises in the north for power interests. Because he has made many populist promises to his voters, now in these ways he requires that once again the situation to strain”, Tahiri declares.

Edita Tahiri, who once conducted talks with Serbia in Brussels, considers Kurti is anti-American and is not known where she is turning the direction.

I can say that the level of relations between Kosovo and the US has marked a decline. Of course this cannot affect the foundations of the strategic alliance between Kosovo and America, because those alliances have not made Kurti. Because it's just turned out to be a state movement because it was anti-American. Even the first interviews he had when he started with Vetevendosje were talking about American imperialism. He couldn't see if it wasn't for America and our war we had, we wouldn't have the country. But since he did nothing during the liberation or liberation process, he wants with a nihilism to ignore the historic achievements of both peaceful and armed leaders of our resistance. She doesn't even want to know the American merits, because she doesn't know she has Kurti turning her heading, she says.

However, Tahiri declares that the decision by local institutions to ban the Serbian dinar is fair. But she considers that she has had to co-operate with the allies for delaying implementation.

“The decision of Kosovo institutions on the dinar ban issue is fair decisions, agreed with the constitution. That the Constitution stipulates that Kosovo has only one currency and we have the euro. But American demand has only been delayed. Making the postponement is not compromise, rather it is co-operation with allies and the Constitution is protected. By postponing implementation, the Constitution is not affected but protected. I can tell you that he could push it and not do it like the license plate that he gave the words he was going to do, then put it off for months. The same time you're pushing it, I think this will push it to national elections, so when the time of elections comes to sell some kind of spent patriotism that already has a dialogue with Serbia”, she adds.

The former minister for dialogue also speaks of the Security Council meeting, where he says for the first time in history, Kosovo has been criticised by allies.

“The Security Council arrangement was a failure of Kurt and the government. For the first time in Kosovo's history, allied countries at the meetings criticised Kurti, but Kosovo in the global plan is also read as critical of Kosovo. This one didn't take all those blows or fists from the Allies, is continuing the course of non-coordination, its anti-Americanism. So, the situation is alarming, the united opposition speaking, but even citizens through protests are forms to deliver messages that we and the people are pro-Americans, but that's when we have a prime minister who every morning from a failure does”, Tahiri says in the Kosovo Press interview.

According to Tahiri, the chief executive has prepared his electorate with anti-American beliefs. For violating reports with the United States, she blames Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The reports have fallen too low for Kurti's guilt, for not knowing, for lack of vision, even for Kurti's absence, there are no elements at all of the leader or statesmanship. There's a politician who broke in with big promises, he was a politician who said he would make the national union, he forgot about it. Now he also violated his relationship with America. Are we going to be punished again, I don't know, but we've been punished by Americans, by the state that made us...11:10) we're dealing with a controversial, deceitful prime minister for the first time in the history of free Kosovo, Kosovo has the bad fortune of having an uninformed, willing prime minister, failed the state in dialogue with the enemy. So, he got rid of all of the achievements we've had in history and he keeps on not repenting or reviewing this failed road he's doing for Kosovo and himself, Tahiri stressed, broadcast Clancosova. tv

US Assistant Secretary of State James O'Brien said Kosovo is jeopardising partnership with the United States of America, following the decision to ban the Serbian dinar. Later, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that Kosovo has no partner, ally or friend more important than the United States of America.

For this last week, US Ambassador Jeff Hovenier stated that Kosovo's decision to implement Kosovo Central Bank regulation to ban the Serbian dinar has affected the quality of relations between the United States and the Government of Kosovo.
