The chief of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, has said that the non-participation of Prime Minister Albin Kurti today at the EU-Western Balkans summit in Tirana is unacceptable, as he said, in this form Serbia is being satisfied.
At the Kosovo Assembly session, where the situation is being discussed in health, Tahiri has commented on the participation of Prime Minister Kurti at the Tirana summit.
“It is unacceptable that Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti refuses attending such an important summit in these circumstances that we are going through both on security issues, and because of the membership of the entire region in the EU. Thus, such rejection by Prime Minister Kurti is unacceptable. And I am reminding you that for 16 years, from the time of the declaration of independence, the Republic of Serbia consistently refuses Kosovo's participation in tables where it is equal to all states of the region, while today Prime Minister Kurti meets a desire to our enemy, the state of Serbia, with non-participation where they do not need to ask for Kosovo's participation, because Kosovo rejects a participation”, Tahir said.
