Hovenier cited the dinar issue and the closure of parallel municipalities in Dragash, Peja, Istog and Kline. He said these actions as a consequence “are limiting opportunities for the United States to serve as an applicant for Kosovo in the International Arena”.
In this statement, Kearns asked where the balance is and whether such a statement by the US has been seen following the illegal kidnapping of three policemen from Serbia.
“Where's the balance? Have we seen such a statement by the United States following the illegal kidnapping of three Serbian police officers Silence for the terrorist attack on Banjska remains deaf?”, it wrote away.
He has also declared that the US is concerned about confiscating Serbian dinars and a car carrying means to distribute payments from Serbia.
“We are also concerned by the actions of the Kosovo Police today about the seizure of the Serbian dinar and the car that transported it to distribute social payments from Serbia. We ask Kosovo authorities to ensure that the individuals for whom these social benefits payments are meant to receive them without delay”.
On the other hand, the US diplomat has said the Kosovo government has responsibility for all citizens' concerns, while adding that the issue of Serbian structures should be involved in dialogue.
