The Specialised Prosecutor's Office has announced that it has handed over the amended indictment in the case of Ismet Bahitari and Sabit Yanuzi.
In Monday's announcement, the issue is said to have been clarified and precise and that “is not unfair or incompatible with the rights of the accused”.
“In accordance with the Procedure Court's decision on February 8th, the SPS submitted the amended version of the initial indictment against Januzi and Bahitari. In the decision, the Judge of Pre-Procedure Procedure came to the conclusion that the amended indictment, which you can find here, not only correcting Bahitari's last name, is also improving the clarity and accuracy of the case and is not unfair or incompatible with the rights of the accused”, the report says.
Both have expressed innocence before the court.
According to this indictment, those along with others who are not identified in the public version of the indictment have committed actions such as pressure on the witness to withdraw his testimony, including contact with phone calls, messages, and going home.
