It has been held today at the Special Court for Appeals made by former Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha's lawyers on SPAK's refusal to allow it to participate in the plenary sessions.
At the end of the hearing, Irena Gjona decided to postpone the session until February 8th, Euronews.al writes.
We remember that lawyers addressed the SPAK prosecutors at a request, the Enkeleda Milonai's Arben Kraja, stressing that this is a constitutional right, as well as the fact that there is not yet a decision on Berisha's form.
But Berisha's attorneys' request was dropped by the SPAK.
TYKKO designated on December 30, 2023, the security measure “Arrest in prison with”, with police surveillance, against the former prime minister.
According to the JKKO announcement, Berisha should not leave his residence, as well as should not communicate with other people except those who co-exist in the same apartment.
