Smuggling is prevented at Zubin Potok, Customs shows what was found there

Kosovo customs has announced that today they have controlled a trade subject in Zubin Potok.

One hundred pieces of strong alcoholic beverages, 150 plasma pieces, 9kg of ground - tod tobacco, 22000 pieces of cigarettes have been found.

Zubin Potok, February 24th 2024, in close co-operation and co-ordination with the Kosovo Police, the Kosovo Anti-Smuggling Units have exercised control of a trade subject in Zubin Potok.

During this coordinated search, implementation of Customs Code authorization has enabled the discovery of a considerable amount of illegal goods. Concretically:

100 pieces of strong alcohol

150 plasma pieces

9kg of smoked tobacco

4400 pieces of cigarettes

This operation is a testimony to the dedication of Kosovo Customs and the Kosovo Police in the fight against smuggling. Customs engages in law enforcement and order protection and the interests of our country's citizens and economy.
