Serwer: Serbia's Armatta poses threat to Kosovo, other regional countries

American expert for the Balkans Daniel Serwer has said that Serbia's instability in recent years relates to the president's refusal, Aleksandar Vuciq, to reform. In a debate organised by the American Institute of Public Policy ? .
In a debate organised by the American Institute of Public Policy ? German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF), Cerwer has said among other things that Serbia's arming poses a threat to Kosovo and other countries of the region in the Western Balkans.
This has led to massive demonstrations against violence, against corruption and pro-medis, against the government. There is no possibility of stability until at least some of these opposition demands are met. The notion that Vuciqi can overcome the wave of protests and impose stability using increasingly autocratic measures is not convincing. It's also not something the United States has to support. Nor will continued threats against Kosovo help. Serbia has carried out a massive military rally, including fears, air protection and some humvees to keep Americans calm. The only reason for such reconstruction is the threat of Kosovo and other neighbours. None of them threatens Serbia, which, however, is anxious to control the Serb population in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo. The attempt to do so goes with the name Serbian ébota”, Serwer has indicated.
According to him, US Assistant Secretary for European and Euro-Asian Affairs James O'Brien, statements that achieving stability in the Western Balkans is difficult to achieve and has suggested that the focus be on economic reforms, show that the Balkans are not a priority for Washington and extenuating on Serbia.
When he addressed the Balkans, he stressed economic issues. That tells you a lot. Jim doubts that political issues can be solved currently. Jim tries to derail Belgrade elections after O The SEU did not officially observe them. But the facts are well known. The government sent thousands of Bosnia's voters to vote in Belgrade, fearing defeat. Even so, it did not win 50 percent of the countries. Who will rule there is still unclear. Jim treats the score as a sign of reform and not of fraud. This is a disturbing example of American relief to Serbian President Vuciq”, Cerer said.
He has stressed that Washington and Brussels should say to Belgrade that the Serbian “bot” has been cursed and the military establishment should be stopped.
