Two agreements will be signed between Albania and the United States of America during the visit to Tirana today, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
The Council of Ministers has in principle approved agreements dealing with an academic exchange programme “Fullright” as well as the memorandum of Albania- The US against manipulation of foreign state information, which protects it from cyber attacks.

His 10-hour visit is expected to start Thursday at 11: 00 p.m. when he lands at the “airport, Mother Teresa” and from where he will start the tour of meetings.
President Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama are expected to be the highest state officials to hold face-to-face meetings with the head of the American State Department, where messages to be forwarded will be for the future of Albania, the Western Balkans and Europe, during a joint statement between Rama and Blinken.
During his visit to Tirana, Blinken will also have part of the delegation and former American Ambassador Yuri Kim, who currently has a higher assignment in the UN.
The Blinken Agency in Tirana will close with a meeting of about 100 young people who have been part of US Embassy support programmes.
