Today during the day, a photograph was published in local media that features several soldiers in the vicinity of the village of Bervnik in the Podujevo municipality.
According to one citizen, it was suspected of Serb soldiers who have affected the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
The signal has contacted the Kosovo Police to accept more detailed information about the photo published in the media.
Kosovo Police spokesman Bucky Kelani said that once the information is received, Kosovo police have been set in motion to identify what case it has to do with.
“Official information, concerning information published in several media/portal, saying that a citizen has seen Serb forces entering Kosovo territory somewhere in the border area, in the village of Bervenik of the Podujevo municipality, Kosovo Police have immediately taken concrete action by addressing this information“, he said.
According to the Kosovo Police, it is about joint KFOR-authorities patrols of Serbia.
The “based on official information is about joint patrols, which KFOR with specific contingents, implements with Serbian police authority, as do joint patrols with Kosovo Police relevant units. Kosovo police with relevant units, including those border patrols continue in preserving constitutional order, providing security and preventing trans-border crime”, Baki Kelani said.
