Reports with America: Conjufca wants us not to worry and not panic

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has declared that relations between Kosovo and the United States of America are not to be disturbed.

According to him, there is no need to panic about the matter.

According to Konjufca, US remarks have nothing to do with the legality of government actions.

“we understand US criticisms. Their remarks are not about the legality of our actions, but they require more preparation, so there will be no tension”, Konjufca said.

“I think that these difficulties of Kosovo sometimes with the US are not innovation, that is, during our political activity, even some differences, how they perceive what is necessary for Kosovo to move forward so which direction to move forward. What the Kosovo government has thus received is a strategy of the sovereignty of Kosovo, while the US sees this process much more from the perspective of security -- that is, they fear Serbia can react and this is the situation out of control -- this is how US perception has always been”, Conjufca said.
