Albania's first prime minister in Northern Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, has talked about his reports with the prime ministers of the countries of the region, separately with Kosovo.
In an institutional respect, Xhaferi stressed that communication will be continuous.
I have many counterparts in the region. There are no obstacles to mutual communication. It is not up to me to comment on Kurt's political decisions. In institutional relations, there are no obstacles and there will be no obstacles. There will be no obstacles to institutional communication. We represent citizens, and my report with the citizens of Kosovo cannot be based on the personal report of the political subject representing the prime minister in Kosovo. So there are no differences and barriers to communication and there will be no obstacles on my side”, he said.
With social networks all the basic institutions have congratulated me. I've received no congratulations from Serbia, no official or personal. It's a matter of diplomatic behaviour, I don't care about it personally”, Xhaferi told Euronews Albana.
On Sunday, Talat Xhaferi has been elected prime minister of the North Macedonia Technical Government, becoming the first Albanian to hold the post in this state.
Xhaferi presented the Government's work programme, which will have a 100-day mandate for organising and managing parliamentary elections scheduled for May 8th.
