European Union Foreign Policy chief Josep Borrell has expressed shock at the death of Russian opposition Alexe Navajo.
Borrell pointed out that Navalny was a brave man who devoted his life to giving hope to Russian Democrats and Civil Society.
“was shaken by media reports of the death of Alexey Navalny, a very brave man who dedicated his life to saving Russia's honour, giving hope to Democrats and civil society”, Borrell wrote.
“While awaiting further information, let's be clear: full responsibility is Putin's”.
