Alexei Navalny, the leader of the fight for democracy and human rights, is the victim of the ruthless regime of a genocide dictator”, is said Monday in a protest of the nongovernmental sector, ahead of the Russian Federation Embassy in Skopje of Northern Macedonia.
Russian authorities in the Arctic have announced on February 16th the death of Navajo.
Navalny has been sentenced to more than 19 years in prison on charges he and his supporters have been considered politically motivated.
In the letter of the protest handed over to the Russian Embassy, it has been said that the “Navlany's name and his uneasable pursuit of democracy and human rights live in the hearts and minds of the world's lyric people, as well as the Russian Federation”.
Jabir Derilla, leader of the organisation, “CIVIL” has said that the Russian state is responsible for the death of Navajo.
We urgently urge Russian authorities to allow an independent investigation into Alexei Navally's death circumstances. We join the requirements for the release of all political prisoners in Russia, as well as bringing an end to police brutality and oppression against citizens”, Derilla said. /rel
