The Serbian list has invited all citizens of this community to protest today in northern Mitrovica.

Their organisation opposes the Kosovo Central Bank's decision to ban the use of dinar currency as a payment tool.

Serbia's “List supports protests in northern Mitrovica, warned by the pensioners' association, and at the same time invite all citizens from Kosovo to participate on Monday, February 12th from 12:00 to participate in this democratic protest against Pristina's decision to ban the dinar and payments”, the Serbian List announced.

The protest is also called for opposition, as said by “demilitarisation of the north”.

In the four northern municipalities of Kosovo, by the majority of Serbs, several new X-rays -- with “messages -- were seen on Sunday when the army in Kosovo returned, the North Brigade lives”.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has turned to the Serb community in Kosovo on Sunday, telling him that the Kosovo Central Bank regulation (BQK) does not prevent Serbia from helping them and Kosovo has not banned the dinar, just like no other currency.

It is referring to the BQK regulation that entered into force on February 1st which envisions that the only currency for conducting cash transactions is the euro.
