The Association of Patients' Rights in Kosovo has reacted to the death of four-year-old girl from the Gjakova municipality.
The parents ' statement notes a poor management of the case in almost every segment, within which criminal acts, ethical and professional offenses and non-human treatment” can be found.
The PRAK has invited the State Prosecutor, Health Inspectorate and the Odas of Health Professionals to investigate the case as well as to judge and condemn it in line with the recorded violations.
“This case well shows the fragility of the health system, lack of professionalism and neglect of a portion of the health staff in case management”.
“Rests like this speak of an uncertainty of the system that goes to the expense of patients. To die within the day and to have contradictory statements about the cause, this is unacceptable”
“We thank the media for senibicizing this case, but there are questions here, how many other cases like this can die in silence and cause of death cover the soil!
