Osmani: Allies as important as having fulfilled our dream of freedom are today

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, in anticipation of the 16th anniversary of independence, in her pre-communicable speech, has spoken of Kosovo's long journey towards freedom and independence.

She has thanked NATO and the West who had come to god with Kosovo had stopped the Serbian genocide over the Kosovo population.

Osmani has stressed that as important allies were when Kosovo fulfilled its dream of freedom and state, so important are the allies today.

And as important as the Allies were when we fulfilled the dream of freedom and state, so important are today as we engage and work to protect our freedom, our state and our future. In these challenging times for Europe and the world, only together can we face all challenges”, Osmani said.

Kosovo's “Themes lie on dedication to democratic principles and the rule of law. We have worked to build institutions that reflect these values”, Osmani has added further.

The president has declared that Kosovo deserves its place in the Bay of the Euro-Atlantic world.
