US Assistant Secretary of State James O'Brien has declared on Tuesday that the United States is very concerned with the Kosovo government's decision not to allow the use of the dinar.
A comment was made by LVV deputy Armendi Muja.
“OBrien is saying that we will not treat the Kosovo government as a partner if they don't consider us, which is not to be concerned. We consider the US as partner”, he said in Pressing.
Central banks are largely independent and it is up to them to judge what actions to take for the establishment of the <x0 bank system, Muja said of the decision on the dinar.
“The United States is hearing that they don't have a problem with regulations, they have complaints or demands to have a longer transition period. The CEC has come up with a three-month period of information...”, Muja said on Pressing.
We consider the US to be the biggest strategic ally and of course. We are in union with them”, he said.
