The president of the United States, Joe Biden, has strongly opposed an investigation against him, who found that he had been misusing classified documents and having encountered difficulties of recalling important life events.

My memory was good”, Beden responded angrily to the White House Thursday to the investigation by special prosecutor Robert Hur, denying that he had forgotten when his son died. Beau Biden died of brain cancer in 2015, at the age of 46.

The investigation found that Beden “deliberately kept and published the classified” files, but Hur said he has decided not to file an indictment against him.

The Department of Justice special prosecutor, Robert Hur, said that Biden had maintained improperly classified documents involving foreign and military policy in Afghanistan after serving as vice president.

In the report, which was released the day before, it is said that the president's memory has “large definitions”.

Hur interviewed the 81-year-old president for five hours as part of his investigation.

The special prosecutor, a republic appointed by the general prosecutor of Biden, Merrick Garland, said that Beden was not remembered at which time he was vice president (from 2009 to 2017), or “even when his son Beau had died”.

At Thursday night's media conference, Beiden was emotional and criticised the findings of the investigation that he did not remember personal events.

When I was asked that question, I said to myself, this is not their” job, Biden said.

I don't need anyone to remind me when he [Beau Biden]” died, he added.

He said he was very busy... dealing with international crisis cases” when he was interviewed by the special prosecutor from October 8th to October 9, 2023 when the Israeli-Hamas war broke out.

The special prosecutor stressed it would be difficult to condemn the president for misuse of files, because “in the trial, Beden would likely be introduced to the jury, as he did during his interview with us, as a compassionate elderly and poor memory”.
