Chairman The PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has waited at the party headquarters for Western diplomats, with whom it has discussed current political developments in the country.
At a meeting with EU office chief Ambassador Thomas Szunyog, France's Ambassador Olivier Guerot, Germany's Deputy Ambassador, Mathias Conrad and Italy's Deputy Ambassador Ugo Ferrero, Krasniqi said he has expressed concern about the difficult political and economic situation in which the country is in.
“From them, first of all, asked to help lift EU sanctions on the Republic of Kosovo. Our citizens should not suffer the consequences of an irresponsible and unco-operative Government”, Krasniqi said in a Facebook post.
He said the ambassadors have assured the PDK that it will continue to engage seriously and play a constructive role in the country's Euro-Atlantic integration process, “as our previous vision and the only path towards development and progress”.
