I'd like a meeting with Blinken: Partnership between two states will last for more than 100 years

Republika President Bajram Begaj hosted US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, with whom he talked about the importance of bilateral strategic relations, developments in the region, solidarity with Ukraine and commitment to NATO allies.
President Begaj named this visit very important and said it is a “demonstration that our strategic partnership is stronger than ever. ”

This visit went further on to President Begaj is a strong message in support of Albanians, our foreign policy and Albania's future on the road to EU integration.”

The head of state relieved Secretary Blinken of gratitude for what the US has done and are doing for Albania, Kosovo and the region.

” We are grateful for what the US has done and you are doing for Albanian democracy, rule of law, especially reform in justice, defence, security and cyber security, education and the economy through various support programmes”- the president declared during his conversation with the American State Secretary.

The president of the Republic stressed that Albania and the US have been together in support of Ukraine as allies in NATO, contributing to missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.

President Begaj stated:” Albania is committed to continue contributing together with the US and NATO for regional and global security”.

” I see this visit as a bright future for Albania, our strategic partnership that will last for well over 100 more years” -- President Begaj said.
