Malisheva Mayor Ekrem Kastrati has expressed disappointment with the central level's support.

He said the government is not taking their demands into account. In an interview for Online Economics, Kastrati said capital investments for the year 2024 are low because of that.

“Support from the central level so far the Malisheva municipality is not satisfied because we have many requests and needs of citizens waiting for the fulfillment of all these requirements and needs, so the approach of the central government sometimes because it doesn't care about all these needs and demands, respectively, of the Malisheva Community and which I have with emphasis, example, capital investments for 2024 we have very low, with low sums that give no hope for a faster development and the larger”, Kastra said.

Because of the rise in performance, Malisha has also won a government grant worth 628 thousand euros. This money, Kastrati promises to spend on improving the lives of citizens.

The government <x0). Also, we as municipal government, mayor of the municipality, respectively, are engaged and will commit to increasing this municipal performance further. Because by increasing our services and increasing our performance we improve the lives of citizens for what we're elected for, even mandates”, he said.
