The Ministry of Defence announced that Macedonia reported on the security situation in the country.
“Especially, the minister stressed the threat presenting Serbia's military bases, located along the border with Kosovo, for the stability of the country and the region, claiming it should be a concern for the entire international factor”, It says on notice.
Among other things, Macedonia briefed members of this Committee on the current capacities the KSF has to ensure protection of the territorial integrity.
“It reiterated that our goal as a state is NATO membership, under whose standards the alliance is continuing with the implementation of the General Transition Plan, the construction of our army's professional and operational capacities”,He's hanging out on notice.
At the end of the meeting, the minister expressed gratitude for the German state's long-standing support of Kosovo, the increased presence of German troops within KFOR, as well as the commitment of this Committee to deepening co-operation between countries in the field of security and defence.
This committee was led by the chairman of this committee, Marie Agnes Strack Zimmermann. Also at this meeting was KSF Commander Lieutenant General Union Jashari, Deputy Defence Minister Shemsi Syla, MM Deputy General Gafurr Dugolli, the KSF military attaché in Germany, Lieutenant Colonel Besim Gashi, and Minister Mededonci's cabinet chief, Venus Zeqiri.
