The inappropriate and dangerous statement by Minister of Government Kurti, Libron Aliu in November last year that “Kosovo is the interim project” is used tonight by Russia's representative to the UN Security Council.
Russia's UN representative, Dmitry Polyanskiy, said the Kosovo Albanians said openly.
Kosovo's “Albanians today openly say that (Kosovo) as it exists today is only, quote, the interim project towards the Union with Albania, the closure of the cytat...”, said Polianskiy while claiming that even the transformation of the KSF is in the army, in his opinion, violation of Resolution 1244.
Russia's representative said the European Union's request to recognise Kosovo's citizenship is unfair.
He claimed that in only 2023, Kosovo has carried out 178 ethnic attacks on Serbs in Kosovo.
In 2023 alone, 178 ethnic attacks were carried out against Serbs and their property... A campaign to usurp cultural heritage, churches are being taken and old Orthodox sites are being appointed Catholic... There are crimes against humanity and arbitrary arrests, threats and violence”, he has said.
