Lawyer Idajet Beqiri is convinced that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his loyal men are a gang to kill “if he was trampled on in the box”.

During an interview for the newspaper “TODAY”, filled with new details and bearing great interest in developments expected to occur in the coming days, since Sali Berisha has an open account of justice, lawyer Beqiri has declared that people close to former Prime Minister and his son Shkelzen have threatened him with life.

But despite such extreme pressures and blackmail, he promises it will run to the end of the battle, so that after 30 years of change democracy, justice, citizens and everyone will know who Sali Berisha really is.

Likewise, Beqiri pressed strong accusations even at the address of Freedom Party leader Ilir Meta. The latter, according to him, is involved in 3 murders to hide traces of crime, while warning that it is ready to “fold” the file that will take the former president behind bars.

-Avokas Beqiri, how did you see the SPAK's commitments in relation to politics?

The Special Prosecutor (SPAK) knew he would be hit by politics. The SPAK as a product of justice reform that would play a special role with two key objectives to combat organised crime and high state crime. In this regard they have been prepared to have extraordinary attacks, but there are people within their ranks who have no good past compared with political power, influenced by old politics.
