Kosovo signs 400m-euro agreements with BERZH

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that he has signed agreements with EURZH for 400m euros investments in Kosovo's main economic development sectors

Prime Minister Albin Kurti with the president of the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (BERZH), Odile Renaud Basso.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has signed a memorandum of agreement with EURZH President Odilé Renaud Basso.

As Kurti has announced on the X platform, this partnership is expected to bring a 400m-euro investment in the main sectors for the period 202458.

Kurti has stressed that this figure is greater than the total of 340m euros in loans and sovereign grants taken over the entire 11 years that Kosovo is a member of this organisation.

“Partnerity with BERZH is stronger than ever. I have just signed a memorandum of agreement with President Odilé Renaud for 400m euros in investments in key sectors for the period 2024)27) more than 340m euros in credit and sovereign grants over the entire 11 years that Kosovo has become a member state”, Kurti wrote.
