Kosovo Central Bank (BQK) has announced that in January of this year banks in Kosovo issued loans worth 137.9m euros.
In the report released Thursday, the CEC reported that 90.4m euros is the value of deposits, while 7.36 billion euros worth of banking assets.
While 6.38 percent is the interest rate on credit, 2.74 per cent interest rate in deposits. 81.6 percent is considered to be the credit-deposit report. According to the report, capital went to commercial banks this month was 879.6m euros. The value of new loans in January 2024 was 137.9m euros, until the amount of new deposits reached 90.4m euros. Also, the average interest rate in deposits was 2.74%, while the average interest rate in loans was 6,3.8%<18x1>, the report said.
The CEC has announced that 84m euros were sent from exile in Kosovo during January this year.
