Konjufca provides Hownier: There will be no problems and turbulence in the north because of the dinar

Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca thinks the dinar issue will not cause problems and turbulence. What I heard was how the American ambassador, Havenier, explained it, was that there might be turbulence in the north because of this decision. We ensure that this will not happen, and security will be offered to all and yes []
What I heard was how the American ambassador, Havenier, explained it, was that there might be turbulence in the north because of this decision. We ensure that this will not happen and security will be offered to all and will also face rule of law by all those who try to cause unrest that are illegal in the Republic of Kosovo. The situation does not come out of control why the dinar has been removed from use”, said Konjufca, responding to the journalists' question about the US ambassador's statement to Kosovo. Jeff Havenier writes about his concerns.
US Ambassador Horvenier yesterday expressed concern about the impact the dinar ban could have on Kosovo Serbs, Periscope follows.
“We are concerned that the regulation, as we understand it, does not fully take into account the impact it will have on individuals, especially individuals who receive financial support from the Serbian government. We think this issue deserves more careful consideration and discussions on the EU-brokered dialogue. We are concerned that it could escalate ethnic tensions and be problematic for the daily life of a number of Kosovo citizens, he added.
Conjufca: Whoever tries to riot will face the law
So said Chief Prime Minister Konjufca to reporters today:
“The dinar and its exploitation I think had to be interrupted when Serbia left Kosovo, after the liberation war and NATO bombings.
Since 2001 no one can doubt that with our self - disorder and laws, the dinar has been illegal.
This has been constantly exploited by parallel structures and their misuse but also their financing for those who have committed very dangerous acts that have violated the security of our country.
What has now happened with the BEC regulation is implementation of a principle that has been in Kosovo.
If you say we should have gathered the international community, sat down and sold them in advance for this action, it's another topic that we can discuss, maybe it could have happened earlier, that there's a two-month-old deadline, but it's a matter on the BQ side and security organs that won't cause trouble and transparency, because the law is written, rules are known.
The second issue is the independence of the CEC. If the government so brutally changed a decision by the CEC then loses the autonomy of our independent institutions, I think the Government does not have that competence.
I think there will be no sanctions against Kosovo on this issue. The remarks are only for a deadline.

Meanwhile, the European Union has also called on Kosovo to offer long-term transitions for the removal of the Serbian dinar.
“The short time period of transition for law enforcement, along with lack of information and practical solutions for all affected communities, risks seriously complicating their lives”, the EU said through a statement issued on February 1st.
The European bloc also called for Kosovo “to find a negotiated solution to this issue under the mediated” dialogue from Brussels.
The Kosovo government has declared that the BEC regulation does not mean it will stop transfers of money from Serbia and does not also imply financial penalties for the possession of currency of other states./Periscopi/
