KFOR: Statements Stopting Some Kosovo Officials in the North

KFOR's mission has stated that some statements on social networks in which KFOR is allegedly banning some Kosovo officials from travelling to the north are groundless.

In the release, KFOR is said to never intervene in the freedom of movement of individuals through Kosovo.

“We continue to provide a secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo, in accordance with our UN mandate, at any time and impartially”.

“KFOR is the third security reacter, behind the Kosovo Police and the EU Mission for Rule of Law (EULEX), with which we work in close co-ordination, respectively. We continue to co-operate with institutions in Kosovo on a daily basis”, the announcement said.
