KFOR Commander Meets With Sterpce Chairman, Talks on Security Situation

KFOR Commander in Kosovo Ozkan Ulutas has met with Shtrepca municipality Chairman Dalibor Yevtijqi today.

According to KFOR's announcement, Ulutas has talked with Yevtichi about the security situation.

KFOR's “Commander has also met with the chairman of the Shtrpce municipality, Dalibor Yevtic, with whom he has shared his views on the security situation”, said the report.

“KFOR is the third security reacter, behind the Kosovo Police and the EU's mission for the Rule of Law (EULEX), with which we work in close co-ordination therewith” respectively.

During his stay in Shtrpce, Ulutash has also met with KFOR personnel assigned to KFOR's liaison monitoring teams operating throughout Kosovo.

These teams maintain daily contact with local communities. This is essential to the success of our mission, as it allows us to better understand the needs of the local population and their implications for local security”.
