“The diversification of the Turkish contingent reflects KFOR's steadfast commitment to continue providing a safe environment for the benefit of all communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at any time and impartially, in line with its UN mandate based on the 1999 UN Security Council Resolution 1244. It is also another concrete demonstration of NATO's continued commitment towards lasting security in Kosovo and stability throughout the Western Balkans”, said KFOR's post.
