University professor Johns Hopkins in America, Edward P. Joseph, has spoken about the dialogue process for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the international access to negotiating parties, the Signal newspaper reports.
In an interview for A2Con, Joseph has said that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has given a gift to Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, as, according to him, Kosovo's policy errors have drawn attention from Belgrade in Pristina.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti's <x0/Gabimet, which has given President Vuciq the gift of drawing attention from the exercise of pressure to Belgrade for organising the September attack on northern Kosovo, for deforming the outcome of the elections for which it has been held responsible by a large majority of votes in the European Parliament for election fraud in Serbia. And instead, Prime Minister Kurti is giving President Vuciq a gift by drawing all attention from Belgrade, where he should be, and instead has called attention to Pristina for the wrong approach to politics in Kosovo”, Joseph said.
He claims that the United States and the European Union have made a mistake against Vuciqi, refusing to see it as it really is.
I think each side has its own responsibility here, including the European Union and the United States. I think the United States has a big responsibility here. And the main mistake, there are many, there are many big mistakes I want to talk about. First is the United States and the European Union's error towards the president of Serbia, Allexander Vuciq and the US and EU refusal to see President Vuciq for what he is. This is an autism taking Serbia back, is taking Serbia from the EU and pushing it closer to Russia, destabilising the” region, the American professor has said.
He has also said that Prime Minister Kurti had all the chances of exploiting Serbia's own moment with attacks on Banjsk and instead of making <x0...gongol with the empty gate”, he makes “autogogue at his gate”.
