The chairman of the United Trade Union of Education and Science, Benderman Jasharaj, has said that teachers are extremely unhappy with the Law of Salats and the value of cofficiency.
Jasharaj that “fears they might start a silent strike”.
The teachers are extremely disappointed and not motivated to work. I think in some form they can even start a kind of quiet <x1-grenerees, losing a few minutes from class, arguing with colleagues about wages and discontent that are not finding solutions”, Jasharaj said.
“We have had dissatisfaction with the Law of the Salats and the cofficiency, especially among those pre-university, since there has been a 28-euro increase in these teachers and that is extremely ironic and we ask that our demands be ignored on the part of the government”, he said.
He stressed that the teaching profession in Kosovo is becoming undesirable.
I see slowly the teaching profession is becoming more depreciated and undesirable. This is about the fact that earlier we had a huge competition for a country at the Education Faculty, there were 10 candidates for an index, while today the interest has been markedly dropped”, he stressed.
The SBASK leader added that the country could remain without a framework in education.
With visa waivers, the country may be left without quadro in education. This is because some of the teachers have even begun taking a free break and going abroad to try a new life there. They can do the same to their colleagues”, the SBASK head for Clankosova said. tv
Nundman Jasharaj, invited Government to consider their demands and reflect on meeting them.
