Kosovo Police Inspectors of the Department of Investigations have arrested today a police official on suspicion that the same one has committed the criminal work of “due to the use of official duty or authority” and “Briberging”.
IPK investigators had recently begun investigations into this case by authorisation and co-ordination with the Basic Prosecutor in Pristina.
After several investigative actions, including the investigation with secret investigative measures, today around five o'clock by IPAK investigators has been arrested in Obilic the police official (investigator at the Obilic Police Station) and the competent prosecutor has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours. Based on the investigative actions IPK investigators have carried out so far, it is suspected that the police official has accepted 1,000 Euros to intervene in investigations into a criminal case”, the IPK communiqué said.
IPK investigators in full co-ordination with the State Prosecutor will continue to take further investigative action towards full enlightenment of all the circumstances associated with the case.
