At the extraordinary meeting of the Security Council of the United Nations Organisation (OKB), called by Serbia over the ban on the circulation of the Serbian dinar in Kosovo, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has reiterated his propagandistic rhetoric to Kosovo and Prime Minister Kurti. While Prime Minister Kurti has been arguing about actions to ensure financial support for Serbs in Kosovo from Serbia does not stumble.

In his speech, Vuciq has said Pristina institutions have created unbearable conditions for Serbs and make systematic attacks on Serbs and their persecution.

The decision on the dinar, according to him, is the latest example of persecution against Serbs in Kosovo.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has replicated the Serbian president for false claims that Kosovo is persecuting Kosovo Serbs.

It is difficult to hear all of this from a country's (Serbia) leader who has committed genocide in Bosnia and Kosovo. The Security Council has established The Hague Tribunal for crimes Serbia has committed in Kosovo and Bosnia. We built a multiethnic society and built a democratic state. We are proud of a republic for all where justice rules. We and the Allies have built democratic state”, Kurti said, Television reports.

Kurti, said the Kosovo Central Bank is ensuring financial support for Serbs in Kosovo from Serbia not to be hampered.

“The CEC has sent a letter to the Serbian People's Bank proposing an agreement. Our government is fully committed to ensuring a slight transition”, he said.

Kurti said the BEC regulation does not intend to harm any group of citizens, but protects all citizens of any ethnicities from organised crime, arms trafficking and money laundering.

According to Kurti, citizens in northern Kosovo are daily threatened by criminal groups that accept money smuggled mainly from the border with Serbia.

Our Serbian citizens face intimidation from criminal groups that dictate their actions from protests to voting. Disobedience results in violence, burning cars or threats from their family members. This has to stop. Belgrade should not be patient to endlessly finance these criminals and terrorists in Kosovo with undeclared remittances of money, running freely and illegally to our country. This is the source of Belgrade's hysteria for this” banking regulation, Kurti said, Telegrafi reported.

US Representative to the UN UN Linda Thomas-Grenfield has said the US has voiced remarks to Kosovo about stopping the Serbian dinar.

She has criticised Serbia for the attack on Banjska until she has expressed concern that Radovici remains at large.

“The US again condemns once again Serb paramilitary attacks on Kosovo Banjska, where a policeman was killed. Four months after the attack, Serbia has not yet called to account those who have made the attack. The leader of this criminal organisation roams free in Serbia. Serbia must speak to KFOR for such an attack not to take place again”, it has declared.

US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Grenfield called on Kosovo and Serbia not to take escalating action and to return dialogue.

The Russian Federation representative was in line with Serbian President Vuciq's propaganda, accusing Kosovo of committing actions that constitute “ethnic cleansing”, which according to him “is being ignored by human rights organisations”.

Meanwhile, China's UN representative called for Kosovo and Serbia to find a solution through dialogue, condemning Kosovo's mutual “ ” actions in terms of banning the dinar.

The United Kingdom's representative to the UN KSF has stressed the necessity of a more intense and productive engagement in talks between Kosovo and Serbia, Telegrafi reports.

Speaking about the current situation, he said it is vital that both sides -- Kosovo and Serbia -- refrain from actions that escalate tensions and respect their previous pledges.

France's UN representative said there is a need to stabilise the situation on the ground and for Kosovo and Serbia to work on normalising the reports.

The official Paris called on the parties to avoid any unilateral action that could fuel tensions.

France said it is concerned with the BEC regulation and the closure of institutions in Kosovo, arguing that these events could affect the lives of Serbs.

Switzerland also called for Kosovo and Serbia to refrain from actions that could strain the situation.

This state said it shares concerns concerning the BEC's regulation as far as public announcement with it is concerned, but acknowledged that authorities have set up a transitional period.

Switzerland demanded that Kosovo and Serbia implement the agreement towards normalisation and its implementation Anex, as well as those involved in the attack on Banjska, be held accountable.

While Vuciq has made efforts to reason on Banjska's attack, saying that <x0 Serbs who were born and living in Kosovo have tried to protect the threshold of the house and their families”.

All at the end of the session, the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuciq, and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti have received the word once again.

Vuciq said the Banjska case has come after guarantees the internationals have offered to remove the barricades.

According to him, even when they received guarantees from the European Union and the US, Kosovo Serbs have not believed them.

“Months later, authorities in Pristina began hunting against Serbs who had set up barricades and that's why these people who were born and lived there all their lives wanted to protect their thresholds, their families. Did they do it properly? I don't think so, but you should know the real reasons. Even after that, we launched investigations and will also see the charges, but it must be understood that according to the UN Charter, the only territorial integrity that has been violated is that of Serbia and no other state. There is no one who can suffer from violation of territorial integrity”, Vucicicici has said that he has expressed “the commander who sees Serbia's flag at UN”.

The Serbian leader also rejected Kurti's accusations that Serbia supports criminal activities and money laundering through the delivery of dinars.

While Prime Minister Kurti has reiterated that the dinar has not been banned in Kosovo, but that the euro remains the country's official currency.

He said Serbia must stop “fantating” that Kosovo is seeking revenge for the killings and other crimes committed during the recent war in Kosovo.

We will not retaliate. I want justice and justice, not revenge. In order to have peace, normal reports, they must stop imagining that we are seeking revenge. I as prime minister are guaranteed that we are not seeking revenge”, he said.

After this speech, Vucic was heard looking for the word and saying that “will have justice for our people”. But the chairman of the meeting did not give the word to the Serbian leader, he announced the session closed. /Telegraph
