Gerjali: A Decision to the dinar in Time and Wrong Circumstances

Economic Affairs Knower Safet Gerjaliu estimated that the decision on the dinar was taken in time and wrong circumstances, and long-term sealing of measures and sanctions in front of Kosovo.

Kosovo does not have the comfort of experimenting in this way at the time when there are sanctions or punishment measures by the European Union. There is no luxury, and I believe it is quick to take such action at the time when you are seeing both the U.S. and Europe have eyes and pressure on dialogue and the final solution or reaching a” agreement, Gerjaliu said, until he mentioned that the US and the EU enter the election.

He further added that such a thing is not a matter of honour to Kosovo, at the time when an evacuation of sanctions is expected, and at the time when reaching the agreement is required.

It's something that has sensitivity and provokes. I believe that Kosovo has lost and will lose in economic, political terms... This decision will be a long-term sealing of measures and sanctions in front of Kosovo”, Gerjaliu said.

According to Gerxhaliu, this decision is more electoral, which, as he estimates, will offer more votes to the ruling party.
