Lacking quorum is also facing the Kosovo Assembly Chief. Today's headship meeting, where some important issues were expected to be discussed, has failed because of a lack of quorum.

This has caused the opposition to blame the ruling party for job neglect.

PDK MP Blertat Deliu-Codra has estimated that this shows a degradation of work in the Kosovo Assembly.

He saw that there was no quorum for meetings today. We see there's a degradation of work. There are some points waiting to be examined, and we have procrastination in the institution's work. Next week the PDK will examine the migration of Kosovo citizens, see if the government is present”, Deliu-Codra said after the meeting.

Even more critical of the VV has been voiced by LDK Parliamentary Group chief Arben Gashi.

He has estimated that the highest legislative body continues to be in a challenging period.

In his account in “Facebook”, Gashi has written that failure of plenary sessions underscores the need to restore parliamentary order.

According to him, the VV has failed in this respect.

With 62 cases yet to be resolved, the assembly continues to remain in a challenging period. The failure of the plenary sessions stresses the need to restore parliamentary order, the VV has failed. LDK time is coming”, Gashi wrote.

Concerned about the failure of this meeting has been the head of the AAK Parliament Group, Besnik Tahiti.

” How it was today it failed to gather the leadership, 62 points of the day have been collected, this agenda now has some laws, and some of them are new, affecting citizens”, Tahiri said.

While VV Parliamentary Group chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila has indicated the reason for this meeting's failure.

In a conference for the media, she has said chief speaker Glauk Konjufca has appointed

“Today the Headship of the Parliament had no alternative to decision making. Two of the members of the Parliament's Headship were missing. Mr. Remember Shala from LDK and Mrs. Sanda Boguyevci. Consequently, the chairman, according to his competencies, assigns tomorrow a session of unfinished points from the plenary sessions held on February 8th and 14th of this year. There are 30 points that have not been completed by these two hearings and primarily have to do with the vote”, Kusari-Lila said.

In addition to the Parliament's leadership, with lack of quorum continuously in this legislature, Kosovo's Parliament has also faced.

Although the ruling party has the majority in the Assembly, parliamentary sessions have repeatedly failed.
