The European Union (BE) has approved the 13th package of sanctions against Russia on Wednesday, Belgian presidency announced on the social X network.
The EU ambassadors just agreed in principle to the 13th package of sanctions in the framework of Russia's aggression against Ukraine”, the Belgian presidency said.
This is one of the largest “package of EU sanctions against Russia, according to her.
Nearly 200 subjects and individuals are listed as sanctions with the new package.
The package will be formally approved in time for the second anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine on 24 February.
