Deda: Kosovo received worst message from US

Former Kosovo Assembly President Ilir Deda has said that today Kosovo has received the most serious message from the United States.

“in diplomacy usually when such heavy public messages arise. It is the final phase of the clash between the two countries. It is not easy for them to deliver such a message to Kosovo, because they have worked harder to complete our independence successfully, we are forgetting that we have completed international citizenship”, said Deda in Klan Kosova.

The decisions made are not short-term because a whole administration that builds a new position does not come back easily later, and especially for the United States”, he stressed.

O'Brien, in an interview for the Voice of America, stressed that with this stance, the Kosovo government has questioned partnership with the United States.

I don't make vague public threats. I would say, that if we are not treated as partners, even we will not treat the Kosovo government as partner”, O'Brien said.

Kosovo must withdraw from the decision on the dinar, says the senior US official. Although the United States had advised the Kosovo government against such an act, it decided to implement it, without considering the advice of key partners”, O'Brien says.
