Meanwhile, Kosovo Customs spokesman Adriatic Stavileci said the Serbian company's request, which asked whether they could put dinars in Kosovo, has been answered with the CEC's decision.

The Central Bank of Kosovo has set specific rules that determine who and how to import euros and other currency in the Republic of Kosovo.

Under the regulation, this can be done exclusively by banking and non-bank financial institutions licensed by the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, for the exercise of financial banking activities, and only after giving the license and particular written authorization from the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo for this service.

This regulation has entered force by February 1st. In order to enable a transitional approach during which arrangement would be made without any negative impact on certain citizens' groups, the CEC has offered its will and expertise in finding a long-term and legal solution that guarantees transparency and maintains the integrity of the financial system, thus ensuring the prevention of money laundering. This rule applies to both the import of the euro currency and the US dollar, the English pound, the Serbian dinar or any other currency.

There is no doubt that this blistering -- without any co-ordination -- presents a uniform step of Serbia, with the aim of flagrant violation of the functionality of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo -- aiming to create artificial tensions, and as such deserves to be observed by everyone who steps in the union.

The Republic of Kosovo stands firm in its will to work and help find the mechanism that ensures such tools are legally directed to the final explorers, and at that time as soon as possible.
