Kosovo customs has announced that it has banned a vehicle at the border checkpoint in Bernjak, where there were 13 thousand and 350 euros undeclared.
In line with procedures, 25% of this amount will be confiscated, meaning a total of 3,337.50 euros.
After stopping vehicle by customs officers who, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, carried out detailed vehicle control. During this search, a total of undeclared monetary means of 13,350 euros were discovered in the tool manager's bag. In line with procedures, 25% of this amount will be confiscated, meaning a total of 3,337.50 euros. This measure has been undertaken as a consequence of violating monetary declaration rules, until the remaining amount will undergo a further verification concerning the origin of these monetary means, in co-operation with competent sectors and in co-ordination with the prosecution”, the statement said.

Bernjak, February 7th 2024 at the point of the Brnjak border crossing, was banned from a vehicle where a significant amount of undeclared monetary means was discovered.
After stopping the vehicle by customs officers who, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, carried out detailed vehicle control. During this search, a total of undeclared monetary means of 13,350 euros were discovered in the tool manager's bag.
In line with procedures, 25% of this amount will be confiscated, meaning a total of 3,337.50 euros. This measure has been undertaken as a consequence of violating monetary declaration rules, until the remaining amount is subject to a further verification regarding the origin of these monetary means, in co-operation with competent sectors and in co-ordination with the prosecution.
