EURO TV shows n'7 with Menduh Abazi have discussed and analysed data on two highly important sectors for the country's economy, production and trade.
The Executive Director of the American Chamber of Economics by analyzing the country's current economic development figures and trends has said Kosovo should do much to capture the trend of economic development. Kosovo has had the greatest economic growth in the Western Balkans in the last ten years, while in the past two years we are stuck because ahead of us economic growth has been Albania and Montenegro. Forecasts of all creditable institutions are that Kosovo will have the largest economic growth in the Balkans in the years to come. We as a state need to adjust the market economy, we need to make the right economic reform movement”, Zeka said.
On the other hand, Oda's chief said we should destroy the myth that we are taking big steps in the economy because predictions speak differently.
“is said in reports of the world's most creditable economic institutions that Kosovo needs nearly three decades to occupy the state with the worst economic performance in the European Union, and that provided that country keeps its current normal economic growth growth, that is, away from the average growth rate. There is a need for major intervention of the state as in terms of fiscal policies such as the environment of doing business. We as the American Economic Ode have applied for domestic institutions not to be affected by current fiscal policies, and for their focus to be combating informality rather than to make fiscal changes”, the head of the American Economic Age added.
According to him, informality continues to be very high in both employment and tax evasion, which remains a great challenge for all.
