The anti-smoking law, especially in this year, has begun to be highly respected in Kosovo, and the severity of fines has been evident.
But in one segment it does not seem to be respected. It's about Kosovo prisons.
The Institute for corrective Policy Avocation has raised the alarm that the health of non-duhanpiers in corrective centres is not being protected.
Prison monitors, who have their recommendations so as not to cut the rights of both parties, are also aware of this.
“A solution was to say more acceptable management would be, and easier for the SHKK to say it would be to have the peroscess that are in the suffering of punishment, split up, become a recategorisation, or first, consider whether they are smokers or not“, Valentina Demoli KMDLNJ has stated.
But television questions from the Correcting Service deny that this is happening in areas where freedom is deprived.
“in corrective institutions implement the laws on tobacco control, as well as administrative instruction no. 02/2022 conditions in allowed smoking spaces. According to this instruction, corrective institutions have made special decisions about the appointment of special smoking spaces, have divided rooms for smokers and non - Adudanpiers. This is largely respected, except in cases where security circumstances impose the attitude of smokers with non-adhantics”, said USKK spokeswoman Florent Gashi.
In their communiqué the Institute for corrective Policy Avocacy raises especially concern over statistics, including an increase in risk of heart disease and lung cancer, from 20% to 30%, among non-duhantics. /Dukagini/
