Before the Kosovo Government object has become the solemn establishment of the flag of the Republic of Kosovo on the 16th anniversary of its declaration of Independence.
President Vjosa Osmani, Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca and Prime Minister Albin Kurti attended the ceremony.
Presequently, it held the Government's festive gathering, where Kurti said Kosovo was, is and will be home to all its citizens, indiscriminately.
The same way the day it was proclaimed, 16 years ago, as it was today and every day further, the Republic of Kosovo was, is, and will be home to all its citizens, indiscriminately. So today we celebrate and congratulate and congratulate not only Albanians but also non-Albanian communities in our Republic, Serbs, Bosniaks, Turks, Roma, Ashkali, Egyptians, Gorani, but also the Montenegrins, Croats etc”, Kurti said.
He expressed special gratitude to international partners and allies, for whom he said they would be forever grateful.
“We are grateful to all those who have contributed to our liberation war and our process of independence. Special recognition of our international partners and allies for our joint journey of the consolidation of the state and international subjectivity of our Republic. We're always grateful to them”.
