The dinar circulation ban, as well as the closure of Serb parallel municipalities, by the international factor are considered one-sided Kosovo actions.

European Union spokesman Petar Stano said that because of these actions Kosovo risks falling behind its path towards EU membership.

“We don't fear a status of being, we don't fear anything in this respect. We fear only that the people of Kosovo and Serbia could remain out of what is there for them from the membership process. We have reacted in recent weeks, especially to unilateral decisions by the Kosovo side. These have raised concern, along with the way Pristina authorities communicate. These create fears in us, which Kosovo can stay out and behind”, Stano said.

The consequences for Kosovo if the government does not listen to their advice, the ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, also warned on RTV21's show Click.

“In the measure the government is responsible for this concern over such a sensitive issue of how minority communities in Kosovo feel they are being addressed and to the extent the government responds to the concerns they are raising, which we believe are legitimate, to the extent that the government is partner to address them, then has a positive impact on our partnership. To the extent that the government decides not to take into account our advice or to listen to us, it is clear that there are consequences in the quality of our partnership. As I said in my statement and as stated by Washington, you know, this affects our ability to be effective lawyers for Kosovo in the international arena, Houvenier said.

Warnings of the international factor responded to the ruling party, the Vetevendosje Movement. Her MP Armend Muja for RTV21 says the international factor should turn its attention to Serbia.

I haven't heard that there may be any consequences for a regulator that's been supported by the international factor in our constitution, it's an independent regulator who doesn't know why it should be connected to one consequence. The CEC is independent and has full autonomy, they all know that the concept of BQK autonomy we've taken from them, the tradition of BQK autonomy is out of government policy, we've taken it from the US, and the bank of Germany and we don't interfere. The BQK as regulator has estimated that it should be functioning that way we have what to do as politicians just to respect it, they are professionals and they follow regulations... We and the international factor have to implement the regulation. The EU must turn its eyes towards Serbia.. There has been a need to discuss parallel structures. As for the dinar, this has been co-ordinated since UNMIK-US”, Muja said.

LDK MP Driton Selmanaj, meanwhile, says the government has lost its way towards co-operation with allies, bringing the country consequences.

“Since the arrival of this government in power is spoken by international friends of consequences for Kosovo. This prime minister and this government has lost the right path to co-operation with the allies. . We have the bad man at the top of the country who is forcing internationals to pressure us”, Selmanaj said.

Politologist Dorajet Imer estimates the government should postpone the decision to remove the dinar.

The decision to remove the dinar in Kosovo through the CEC regulation entered into force on February 1st due to this decision was closed even several parallel municipalities working in the Serbian system and are illegal for Kosovo. /21Media
