Conjufca: dinar issue need to be discussed in EU negotiations

The head of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, has spoken about the dinar issue, which, based on the new Kosovo Central Bank regulation that entered into force on 1 February, is excluded from circulation. In a press proposal, Konjufca has said the issue of stopping the dinar is the right action of the state of Kosovo, as according to him, no one knows exactly where the dinars coming from Serbia have gone.
According to him, millions of dinars enter with the nation in Kosovo, which he considers corruption.
“As for the dinar, the dinar was legal all the time. This should be handled, for illegal things there is no need for much negotiations with anyone. They are the right actions of the Kosovo state, necessary, I don't think it has much to do with Serbia's concern as regards the post-retirement of pensions for Kosovo Serbs. The question is, without responsibility, the registry, no one knows where they go, we can't make the comparison as they enter, a percentage is distributed to bring and are responsible for doing Belgrade's duties in Kosovo. There may be manipulation, this smells like corruption, which entered millions of dinars with the nation by various means within our country, is illegal. Simply, there's a kind of formalisation of all that can come from Serbia as a help, it can't come in, in sacks, and cars, and nobody knows who they are. So the first is the dinar, but the second is corruption, both combines, I think it was a necessary process.”, he said.
Asked whether such an issue will be discussed in the dialogue, Konjufca has indicated there is no need for negotiations.
“Doctors and teachers have cash shortcomings coming out of Serbia's system, but not in that way, with dinars, currency for legally transactions is the euro in Kosovo, no other currency. Not so physically, with cars, bags, there's no such way, they're not through banking, institutionalized fiscalized forms, there's all the potential for corruption. Nobody gives responsibility to anyone, nowhere in Europe is there any method, with bags spreading a lot of the population before. I don't think it's going to move on, I don't think there's room for negotiation to be one of the themes.”, expression away from Conjufca.
The prime minister has further said that through these methods, Belgrade has brought money through Serbian List officials who have threatened Serbian citizens in Kosovo, urging their trust in exchange for money.
“Belgrade through the physical methods of bringing money, don't forget, when you come across a blind bank mechanism, some money, can't come to a Serbian List official to threaten you, or take the signature that you were playful to the Serbian List, that Serbia has targeted. It wasn't a currency, it was an instrument that was physically brought to you by Belgrade, some Vuciq officials through the Serbian List, came home, looked at you sadly, begged for your loyalty. You can see it's not the battle, well, here's the pension, but the practical, concrete, physical exercise of each family from Belgrade and the Serbian List.”, he said.
The regulation of the CEC, which requires the euro to be the only currency available for cash payments across the country, came into force on February 1st, despite strong international pressure to delay its implementation.
