China: Single action does not help resolve Kosovo issue

China's UN representative called for Kosovo and Serbia to find a solution through dialogue, condemning Kosovo's <x0 unilateral” actions in terms of banning the dinar.

The unilateral “Actions do not help resolve the Kosovo issue, nor do they contribute to the peace and stability of the region. We urge Kosovo to refrain and give up the decision on the dinar and give up actions that could strain the” situation, the Chinese representative said.

He said interethnic tensions in Kosovo -- “ -- threaten stability and peace in the region, and this is not in anyone's interest”, repeating that China's position remains the same, that there will be a political solution between the parties that would respect Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
